Abstract—Many academic Information System (IS) institutes are seeking to demonstrate that their curriculum is aligned with professional association guidelines and their programs are accredited by reputable standards. Achieving these two goals is not straightforward. They require thorough understanding to both the curriculum design guidelines as well as the program accreditation criteria. This paper presents a contribution study on the design of curriculum of IS degree with concentration on Web Design and Development. The proposed curriculum demonstrates and follows the principles guiding the IS curriculum design recommended by the Association of Information Systems (AIS) and is aligned with Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) nine program outcome criteria.
